Consumer Research

Consumer research can be a valuable tool in determining the wishes and desires of residents of your target market wether it be an existing facility looking to add amenities and servbices or a new construction project, it pays to know what people in your area are looking for.

Revere will utilize a direct survey instrument (mailed survey or web survey) in order to solicit Community members as potential residents of an existing or proposed project. The analysis would utilize a mail survey to obtain quantitative and qualitative data about the proposed development.

A survey instrument would be developed especially for this engagement. An applied random sample approach would be utilized to select respondents to help ensure that an appropriate geographical cross-section of the service area is represented. The survey would be designed to obtain information on such issues as:

  • Lifestyles of target populations (Older Adults/Special Populations)
    • Current living arrangements
    • Plans during retirement
    • General demographics
  • Preferences toward proposed services/facilities
    • Familiarity with target population (Older Adults/Special Populations) facilities and their pricing structures
    • Interest in target population facilities
  • Characteristics of the Proposed Project
    • Site/Location
      • Familiarity
      • Desirability of location
      • Building type
      • Type of housing units
        • One-bedroom
        • Two-bedroom
      • Size of units
      • Pricing
        • Rental
        • Pricing levels
        • Optional Services/fees
      • Amenities

A report detailing the survey results, the key findings and our conclusions related to the scope, the size of the Project and levels of care, as well as proposed services to be offered, would be prepared and presented.
