ROCKFORD, IL, –Spring Creek Development Group, along with Revere Healthcare, LTD., announced today a major re-development project for the west side of Rockford.  The project, known as the Rockford Campus of Care, will encompass the land bounded by Springfield Avenue, West State Street and Pierpont Avenue.  The project will include three brain-related health specialties serving three specific populations – Warriors’ Gateway for traumatic brain injury and poly-traumas; Tapestry Center for Autism; and Ara Gardens Senior Living.

Spring Creek’s vision for the Campus of Care is to provide superior medical care and services which will greatly impact the physical, emotional, intellectual and social well-being of the three special populations. The sharing of staff, spaces, grounds and other resources will add to the overall economies of scale and provide significant cost savings to participants of each program.  Management of the three programs by a single medical services director, Revere Healthcare, will ensure quality, efficiency and consistency in the delivery of services.

The economic impact of the Campus of Care to the City of Rockford will be significant.  A Northern Illinois University-Center for Governmental Studies Report, commissioned by the Rockford Area Economic Development Council, found that the operations alone will lead to 387 new full time positions and $25.4 million in newly created economic activity.  Two hundred seventy-five construction jobs will also be created .
